Sunday Workshops

Upcoming Sunday Morning Workshops

Following the successful workshop on the Superficial Back Line, Lisa will be running another 6 Sunday workshops over the coming months. The aim of these sessions is to work on releasing the myofascial tissue in the other meridians in common use in human stance and movement. Myofascial tissue is a type of thin, strong, fibrous connective tissue that extends throughout your body to provide support and protection to your muscles and bones.

Each workshop will start with a seated discussion about the area that is going to be worked on, associated problems and how to fix them. There will also be an opportunity to ask any questions. This will be followed by exercises to realise the fascia in that area, Lisa will supply the rollers and other equipment, but please bring along a mat, there will also be a stretching session. Refreshments will be provided for the break halfway through the morning!

Please book here.

This is the net of connective tissue that reaches from the 'toes to the nose'. Problems in this area can manifest in different ways such as plantar fasciitis, tight calves, tight hamstrings, and back pain.

Superficial Front Line

Sunday 23rd February

9.30am - 12.30pm

This line of fascia runs on both the right and left sides of the body from the top of the foot to the skull, including shins, quadriceps, the rectus abdominis, sternum and skull.

The Lateral Line

Sunday 29th March

Change of Date

9.30am - 12.30pm

This line of fascia traverses each side of the body from the medial and lateral midpoints of the foot, leg & thigh, passing along the trunk in a woven pattern that extends to the skull.

The Spiral Line

Sunday 26th April

9.30am - 12.30pm

This winds around the trunk with another loop in the legs from hip to foot arch and back again. It joins one side of the skull to the opposite shoulder and then across the front of the torso to the same side hip, knee and foot arch returning up the back of the body to the head.

The Arm Lines

Sunday 24th May

9.30am - 12.30pm

The four arm lines run from the front and back of the torso to the tips of the fingers.

The Functional Lines

Sunday 28th June

The two functional lines join the girdles across the front and back of the body, running from one humerus to the opposite femur and vice versa.

Deep Front Line

Sunday 19th July

9.30am - 12.30pm

This forms a complex core volume from the inner arch of the foot, up the inseam of the leg, into the pelvis and up the front of the spine to the bottom of the skull and jaw.
