After her initial training with Future Fit 15 years ago, Lisa started her fitness career in Military gyms abroad, both in Cyprus and Belguim before heading back to the UK 5 years ago. She settled in Warsash and set up her company, The Better Body Club. Lisa believes that fitness should be for everyone regardless of their injuries, age or class preference and has worked to create a timetable that reflects this. Although Lisa enjoys teaching a wide variety of classes she has a particular love of dance, pilates and music. Her spare time is taken up with even more physical activity walking her 3 dogs and taking her 2 teenage daughters out on their horses.

 

Martine Neal - Better Body Club Instructor

 

Martine has always enjoyed all types of sport and fitness, running, squash, skiing and various "keep fit" classes. A few years ago she discovered Nordic Walking and has now qualified as an instructor.

 

Martine has recently retired from her banking career and now takes a variety of Pilates classes for the Better Body Club.

Ellie Blaiklock - Better Body Club Instructor

Ellie works part time as a Breast Cancer Nurse Specialist in the NHS. Since being persuaded to take part in the Race for Life 5k in 2008 she fell in love with running and has gone on to run 7 marathons (so far..!!). She has developed a passion for health and fitness and is completing the Level 2 Fitness Instructor course. She is looking forward to sharing her knowledge and experiences with the Better Body Club clients.

Betsy graduated with a degree in Dance Performance in 2012 and then continued her dance training for a year in NYC. Betsy has since worked professionally as a singer and dancer for multiple companies performing in hotels and resorts Internationally and the UK. Along the way Betsy has worked as an instructor teaching performing arts, Zumba, body sculpt and most recently became a Chasamba instructor.

 

Betsy is now based in the local area teaching fitness classes alongside working as a vintage singer and tribute artist. In her spare time she enjoys keeping active with horse riding, running and yoga.

 

Betsy encourages all ages and abilities to come to her classes.

 

Gemma Sprack - Better Body Club Instructor

 

Qualification

FRYOG (Friends of Yoga International)

 

Gemma received her hatha yoga training with FRYOG and has been teaching classes in the Hampshire area since January 2016.

 

Gemma's classes are designed to help you leave behind the grind of daily life, and reconnect with your body and breath. The classes are based on traditional hatha yoga methods and vinyasa flow. They incorporate gentle, dynamic, flowing sequences to stretch and work the body, slow the breath and get re-acquainted with yourself.

Amy Broughton - Better Body Club Instructor

Amy started professional life as a singer dancer for a leading holiday park company, touring around the country performing in a variety of shows. Having always had a keen interest in health and fitness, Amy side stepped into the fitness industry teaching bootcamps, circuits and a variety of dance based classes. This led onto a passion for rehabilitation and Amy qualified as a Physiotherapist, she currently works part time for the NHS.

 

Amy still sings in bands and enjoys an active outdoors lifestyle with her husband and son.
